Storyville’s motto: Wear Your Story. And that’s just what NOLA natives do, thanks to this cool shop of locally-designed apparel—though to be frank, it’s all about the tee shirts!

As folks from Austin and Baton Rouge already know (and a Storyville is coming to Nashville soon), the shop specializes in shirts that simultaneously poking fun at and big-upping each city’s notorious hoods (fyi: Chalmette is Louisiana’s version of Staten Island — accent included!). Right now, Saints merch is really moving, thanks to the New Orleans’ 13-2 NFL team.

But their best-selling tee is undoubtedly BRAD PITT FOR MAYOR, which comes in three colors and was inspired by the citywide pride caused by part-time resident Pitt, who decided to take the rebuilding of New Orleans’ poorest parts into his own hands. Since founding the Make It Right organization, Pitt has overseen the revival of the city’s Katrina-devastated Lower Ninth Ward by bringing modern, colorful, and flood-resistant new homes to the hurricane-levelled area near the levees.

SEXY NEW T-SHIRT LINE!
We’re totally obsessed with punkmasters, a cool, artsy new collection of tees from the designer of those quirky logo tees from Juicy Couture and Juicy Men. Soft, snug, and slightly distressed, they’re quickly being snapped up at stores like celeb central Fred Segal and Ron Herman in LA. This tee was gifted to Pete Wentz; his wife, Ashlee also has one. And the guys from Duran Duran are big supporters (designer Patty Palazzo has spent the last decade doing artwork for their album covers and merchandise).
Check out the full collection — they’re rather inexpensive for such quality tee material. We’ve already bought a bunch to give away as holiday pressies!
