If you haven’t seen the video for “Somebody to Love” by Leighton Meester Ft. Robin Thicke, here it is.
We wish we’d have heard the song first so we could have a true musical first impression. Because watching this video colors our opinion — Leighton is too desperate; a more subtle performance from Queen Bee would have fit the lyrics better.
And we can’t imagine Paula Patton is happy with her sexy husband being pawed.
Still, there’s something to admire here … perhaps? Following her hit with Cobra Starship, Leighton is definitely picking the right singing partners. Plus, she said she’s music is inspired by Blondie and Debbie Harry. Not sure if she succeeds there, but those definitely aren’t bad role models.
